Disaster zone right?
In yet a third kitchen, we did an island in galapagos blue! Can you tell 2016 will be bold?!
Such a big difference! Check out the before and after!
So how do we pull these amazing projects off?We thoroughly prep the cabinets and frames. We repair and glue any and all joints that currently need it or will in the near future, we caulk anything that needs to be before we paint. Lastly, we repair any and all water damage so there are no surface cracks after the paint is applied. About 50% of cabinets have this and its usually just accepted but I have to take it up a notch, always!Anyway!!! The most important part, the color! We entered into General FInishes contest last year with this color and WON! Lucky us! Its a mix of corinth blue, dark chocolate and sunglow yellow. But GF actually produces it for us now and we rebottle it in smaller quantities. The paint is self leveling, acrylic based, and self sealing. After painting, you can tell in a few of these kitchens we added a black or metallic glaze but totally not necessary. Then we sealed with a resin that is water resistant, uv protected and can withstand acid rain. Its Modern Masters Supreme Clear! We have a video of the whole kitchen on our website! Just checkout the link below!Want to see what other bold color we are using? Head to our post!I would love for you to visit us on facebook at: Http://www.facebook.com/stl.rescuedfurnishings
